Meydan Free Zone
Meydan Free Zone is a key development project personally directed by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The project aims to transform Meydan into a sustainable, high-end integrated city dedicated to promoting economic growth and innovation. Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City

Dubai Racing Club
Dubai Racing Club serves to organise and host horseracing at Meydan Racecourse, from November through to March, including the Dubai World Cup. Formed in 1992 to further develop and promote horseracing in Dubai, the first races held under rules were contested in March 1992 at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse. Dubai World Cup is the highlight of Dubai’s sporting and social calendar and attracts the best horses and riders from all over the world. It is the world’s most spectacular race day with a total prize money of US$ 30.5 million for the showcase of nine races, including US$ 12 million at stake in the title contest. Meydan Racecourse is the world’s largest integrated racing facility and the racing season plays a key role in international horse racing.


The Track
The Track Meydan Golf is a 9 hole course measuring 7412 yards off the Black championship tees, but with four other varying tee boxes this allows every ability of golfer a chance to play and enjoy the experience of Meydan Golf. Renowned golf course architect Peter Harradine strategically placed each hole allowing the six natural lakes on the course to come into play on several approaches. Course is open from 6.30 am until 12 midnight daily and offers night golf.
